I’m not great at cooking or decorating. I’ve tried to sew, scrapbook and sing through the years with only marginal degrees of success. I’m inconsistent in many areas of my life—cleaning, calendaring, health and fitness—but I’ve consistently played Words with Friends since it was released in 2009. (not gonna lie, I’m pretty good)
I love early mornings, cool evening walks, and quick naps while parked in the afternoon carpool line. My favorite color is orange and my favorite dessert is white wedding cake, and I feel strongly about both. But, far exceeding cake and all-things-orange is the love I have for my husband Robert, our four daughters and our two really smart, talented, amazing son-in-laws. I hope you get to meet them some day. They are the best people, really. That’s not just lip-service. It’s true.
But, I guess the thing I’ll never get over is how God allows me to serve the body of Christ and teach the Bible. It’s the thing I do best and love the most! Currently, I serve as the Women’s Minister at my home church, Prestonwood and host a weekly podcast called “Digging In”.
