THE BRAZOS COLLECTION
Long before I had any public-facing presence in the world, I longed to write and share my faith. This fiction series was self-published on Amazon so I could share it more easily with friends and family. I don’t spend much time writing fiction these days, but if you’re looking for an easy, heart-warming read, check these out.
Pursuing Riley | Brazos Collection Book 1
Riley Ann Moss has her heart set on opening a bakery in her hometown of Waco, Texas. Being chosen to compete on the Food Channel’s latest reality baking show, Bake-Off on the Brazos, might just help her achieve that dream. But, while in New Mexico, on the last stop of her promotional tour for the show, something new begins to vie for her heart’s attention; rather someone. Dr. Cleat Thorne is an athletic, handsome, playboy who has wooed many a woman with his charm and wit. And, though Riley would like to think she’s impervious to his charm and banter, she soon finds out her heart may have room for things other than recipe cards and gourmet kitchens. Journey with Riley as the things of this world and the longings of her spirit remain in close pursuit for control of her heart.
Calling Paige | Brazos Collection Book 2
Paige Stripling knew better than to fall in love with the College Pastor at Emmanuel Community Church, Ron Hastle. Aside from her troubled upbringing, Paige had a terrible track record in relationships. New to her faith, she doubts God would be willing to redeem her past enough to make her worthy of Ron’s affection. But, Ron promises he’ll love her no matter what her past looks like. And, her past soon becomes the smallest of the challenges they face. When a violent crime rocks the Brazos River Valley to its’ core and leaves Paige in a fight for her life, Ron reaches out to an unlikely source. It’s unclear what the future holds for Paige, and the new man Ron brings into her life. Will Paige be called to a life with Ron Hastle, or will God call her home?
What people are saying.
“I adore Tasha’s writing. She took on some deep and sensitive issues in the book but handled them through love, grace, and hope. Her own relationship with the Lord comes through her writing so clearly. She shows how his redemption works through us to bring healing to others, in such a pure way. I can’t wait for the third book to be released!”

“I enjoyed the book. There were many instances when my heart was quite touched and there were tears. This line keeps coming back to mind, “she was so thankful to God for pursuing her until she listened…”. Yes, this. I’m thankful to God for that very thing too. So good.

“I really liked this book. The main character Riley seems like a real person - she is a Christian who sincerely loves the Lord, but doesn’t have everything figured out. I really liked the portrayal of Christians - sincere, loving people who are doing their best to follow God. It was a fun read that kept me going to the end - can’t wait for the next one! “
